Retraced yesterdays steps, saw birdlife alongside the River Lark as we walked to the Abbey Gardens. Found my lost fleece just laying there! Formal flower beds and the cathedral. Tea rooms that are rarely open at the best of times. Camellias, wallflowers and tulips. Blackbirds, a curious squirrel. Heavenly Bamboo and the shadow of a tree. Then there's the Sundial Fountain, a gift to Bury from the third Marquess of Bristol.
On into town and wandered down Skinner Street, which services shops in the Buttermarket and The Traverse, it is rarely photographed. Outside of the old Corn Exchange are Poetic and literary bench quotes.
Then on past the Guildhall, a mysterious angel and through Spensley Meadow before heading home.
