Today I'm taking you for a walk past some of Bury St Edmund's lovely buildings. Starting at Southgate Street walking up to St Mary's Square. Along Sparhawk Street towards the now defunct courthouse. From here to the Great Churchyard and St Mary's Church.

In the churchyard is the Charnel House with its addition of memorial stones. Then there's the West front of the Abbey, the Cathedral, the Norman Tower and the Penny Bank.

From The Abbey Gate to Angel Hill and the Athenaeum. Then on to Abbeygate Street, looking back at the Pillar of Salt, the first illuminated road sign in the UK. On to Churchgate Street, back to Whiting Street, the Zodiac House, Theatre Royal and Linnet Lodge.
