Vintage Lenses

Helios 44 58mm f2

Not really a review of said lenses, just me playing with them and uploading the results. First up was the The Helios 44 58mm f2 loads of them about apparently, so they are as cheap as chips. It's an odd name and have to say I get confused by this sometimes, but it's 58mm F2 lens not 44. For a cheapy lens it performs quite well

Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm 2.8

Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm 2.8. Zebra version. Apparently the zebra version is much sought after. Or maybe that should be was? They aren't that expensive on Ebay. My focus ring is a bit stiff but I don't know enough to take it apart to sort that out. Never-the-less it takes some decent photos.

Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4

The there's the Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 I have the 8 lens elements version. Tak sharp says it all, assuming I focus correctly. It's a super little lens.
